L. Bradley Baker, DMD
The most important aspect of orthodontics is having the opportunity to help people love to show off their smile and gain the confidence that a beautiful smile provides. We have a wonderful family of patients that stay in contact with us long after their orthodontic treatment is complete, and we love to catch up on all the wonderful things that have happened in their lives. We are especially pleased when a former patient comes to us for their own child’s orthodontic treatment; knowing that their experience with us instilled such trust is truly an honor.
Working in the dental profession isn’t just something that I enjoy, it’s in my blood! My wife's father, Dr. Garland Godsey served two terms as President of the KY Board of Dentistry and even signed my dental license; what an honor! My grandfather, Dr. John C. Baker, was a family physician in Madison County, KY, and my father, Dr. William B. Baker, was the orthodontist who started this practice. My grandfather taught me compassion, and from my father I developed a technical mastery of orthodontics. I inherited an artistic eye and a love of working with my hands to create beauty from my mother, Biji Baker. Orthodontics is a lovely blend of these things and is very fulfilling to me to use these gifts for the creation of beautiful smiles.

Our motto is, “If you’re not having fun, you’re not doing it right.” We are a happy, focused team of highly skilled professionals who take incredible pride in what we do. We love orthodontics, and we feel blessed to be part of a practice whose mission is to make people want to smile.
I reside in Owensboro, KY, and have lived here my entire life. My wonderful wife, Nancy, and I met in college in 1982 and it was a story of love at first sight for both of us. We have one son, Worth, who is an honors student, amateur blacksmith, and knife-maker. Our home is filled out with our two dogs, Bibi, a Chinese Shar-Pei who thinks she’s huge, and Baskerville, a 200 lb. English Mastiff who thinks he’s a lap dog! I am a self-confessed computer geek who loves photography, videography, designing and making jewelry, and building airplane, car, and boat models.
